Digital Pride 2025 is Here

Digital Pride is back, and this year, we’re doing it loud, proud, and global. For the sixth annual It Gets Better: A Digital Pride Experience, we kicked things off with our bilingual Global Summit on May 28, streaming live on Twitch. From Minecraft builds to meaningful conversations about LGBTQ+ resistance and digital community-building, the summit set the tone for a month of queer joy, visibility, and connection. But that was just the beginning. Throughout June, Digital Pride will spotlight a full lineup of streamers, gamers, and creators who are using their platforms to raise funds for It Gets Better. From a Twitch-hosted Queer Prom to brand activations with partners like e.l.f., to our closing Chosen Family stream packed with gift exchanges, GRWMs, and real talk about allyship and activism—this year’s digital celebration is all about showing up, speaking out, and supporting LGBTQ+ youth in the spaces they already call home.

Fruities Charity Stream Team Fundraiser 

  • Time: TBD – throughout June raising funds on Tiltify 
  • Location: Various Twitch channels
  • Info: Fruties is a Twitch stream team of 45 queer creators and allies focused on LGBTQIA+ representation, awareness and support for the community. Last October, for LGBTQ+ History Month, Fruities raised funds for It Gets Better via Tiltify and are coming back for a team-wide charity event this June.

Gaymer Pride Event Fundraiser 

  • Time: June 16th through 20th – throughout June
  • Info: Gaymer Pride is an event dedicated to raising funds for It Gets Better, led by Twitch streamer heyykrista. Coming back for its second year, Gaymer Pride is hosting a charity relay for It Gets Better from June 16th through the 20th with 13 creators.

1UP Gaming Festival Fundraiser

  • Time: TBD – throughout June raising funds on Tiltify 
  • Location: Various Twitch channels
  • Info: 1UP Gaming Festival is coming back for its second year, where 30+ creators get together for a week-long raid train to raise money for It Gets Better. Most titles streamed are from Nintendo, or can be played on the Switch, including Pokemon, Super Mario Bros, Fall Guys and Splatoon. It Gets Better stickers will be used as a giveaway throughout the event for team-wide charity incentives.

2nd Annual Great Palia Charity Hunt Pride Edition 

  • Time: June 1st, 2nd, 7th, 14th, 15th, & 16th, 30th at 1PM pacific time
  • Location: Main channel Behind_The_Lash_Streaming & various creator channels
  • Info: The Great Palia Charity Hunt is a multi-day charity streaming event where over 30 streamers will participate on a designated day hosted by Behind the Lash. Streamers compete in a 5–6 hour head-to-head hunt in Palia, searching for star stones. Each stone has an assigned point value based on rarity, and the streamer with the highest score at the end of their session is crowned the winner. Donations unlock sabotages and support that impact gameplay. Each sabotage/support has a dollar value and can be targeted at a specific streamer. Donors select the action in Tiltify and note which streamer it’s for.

Twitch Prom 

  • Time: TBD
  • Location: Various channels – TBD
  • Info: Twitch prom is a virtual charity event to raise money for queer youth while spreading awareness for LGBTQ+ charities and showcasing queer joy. The last queer prom took place in 2022, raising almost $12k for GLSEN, and returns in 2025 with its same organizer and previous Ambassador, ctrlaltquin. Twitch prom’s purpose is to give LGBTQ+ creators and viewers the experience of attending a virtual prom while dressing up and supporting queer youth in the process. Various safe, interactive streams, chosen by the Twitch Pride Guild, will dress in prom outfits while celebrating. The theme this year is Y2K.

Roblox Charity Stream with e.l.f. 

  • Time: June 18th 
  • Location: co-streamed on Beaplays & elfyou 
  • Info: BeaPlays will be hosting a Roblox charity stream with e.l.f. Focused on playing both Dress to Impress and e.l.f.’s own Roblox game, Fortune Island.
  • Host: BeaPlays has been a long-time It Gets Better Twitch Ambassador and has worked with us on a variety of events in the past, and is also the Community Manager for Roblox’s Dress to Impress. 

Chosen Family

  • Time: end of June
  • Location: It Gets Better Twitch channel
  • Info: e.l.f. will be a part of our Chosen Family stream, held at the end of the month to close off Pride, doing a Get Ready With Me segment with Stef, one of elf’s Twitch streamers. Outside of that segment, creators who have been a part of our Digital Pride programming will be a part of a sponsored gift opening and chatting segment, similar to what we’ve done with the December Chosen Family event.
