It Gets Better Canada envisions a day when no young person in Canada feels marginalized, isolated, excluded or rejected because of their sexuality or gender identification.

We use the power of social media to connect Canadas’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual and two-spirited kids to stories that inspire hope, to practical resources that can help them address the challenges of growing up LGBTQ2, and to a larger community that cares – to support them as they move forward.

Please support our current campaigns, both on- and offline:

It Gets Better Canada is also proud to team up this season with Toronto’s Inside Out LGBT Film Festival as a community sponsor for an afternoon of youth-friendly shorts. With films by young filmmakers from Canada, the US, South America and the UK, it’s an international celebration of the power of the imagination… and a testament to talent and tenacity of the LGBTQ2 spirit.
