If you’re in high school, college, or trade school, you can lead a blood drive with the American Red Cross, earn volunteer hours, get some great experience for your resume—and even qualify for scholarship drawings and gift cards. All that, PLUS you get to help marginalized communities during a critical blood shortage.

It Gets Better’s Executive Director Brian Wenke has a long history with the American Red Cross — his mother worked there for more than 25 years. But that’s just one of the many reasons why It Gets Better and the American Red Cross are teaming up.
