Here’s a digest of the projects we were able to fund in 2021 within and outside of our Global Affiliate Network through our Global Grants initiative.

Canada

We allocated funds to support It Gets Better Canada’s operations costs, which helped our Affiliate in creating more content and investing in different campaigns, such as their “End Gay Conversion Therapy in Canada”.

Greece

It Gets Better Greece  produced a six-video series where they profiled some of their country’s LGBTQ+ personalities:

Mexico

It Gets Better México also benefited from the fundraising efforts with American Eagle, so we also allocated these funds to support their operational costs, which allowed them to hire their first two full-time staff members, which in return took their programs to the next level.

United Kingdom

It Gets Better UK  presented an educational project for school classrooms in some selected cities in their country, but the COVID-19 pandemic made them pivot their project to an Ambassador Program, which continues to date.
