They get there just as their target is about to be game-ended by a Voider, creatures born from the negative energy created by people existing within The Void. The powerless main character appears to help, but ends up being useless, even going so far to accidentally put their teammates in danger as they try to help but just end up becoming a liability. They end up using their wit to overcome their lack of power and sacrifice themself in order to give their team a chance to successfully complete their mission.
