American Eagle / Aerie: Back for its fifth year, American Eagle is the single largest donor in the history of the It Gets Better Project. American Eagle’s 2021 Pride campiagn alone raised more than raised more than $1.18 million for the organization. American Eagle’s support for our work extends well beyond Pride month — they’ve funded expansion efforts for It Gets Better EDU, global grantmaking, and beginning last month, supported the launch of our biggest grant program to date — 50 States. 50 Grants. 5,000 Voices, an effort to get grant money supporting the empowerment of LGBTQ+ youth into schools in all 50 states.
Bungie Inc: In 2020, Bungie released a Pride pin that raised a substantial amount of money for our work. Thanks to the continued popularity of that pin, Bungie has added it to the permanent collection where it continues to raise money for the It Gets Better Project and for LGBTQ+ youth. to raise money for LGBTQ+ youth! Humble Bundle: The It Gets Better Project was honored to be Humble Bundle’s featured charity for June, 2021. When you pay what you want for a bundle, you not only get to choose your price, but also how much of your payment goes to charity. To date, Humble Bundle has raised more than $200,000,000 for a variety of nonprofit causes, and this year, support from the Humble Bundle 2021 campaign will cgo to support our expanding reach into the Twitch and gaming communities.
Howmet Aerospace Foundation: The It Gets Better Project is excited to have been selected as a Howmet Aerospace Foundation grant recipient. With their support, the It Gets Better Project will develop an original content series in 2022, focused on the opportunities and career pathways in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

TikTok: After supporting the It Gets Better Project through its Creative Learning Fund and helping to make us the number one LGBTQ+ nonprofit on the platform, TikTok continued its support in 2021 through a variety of efforts. Support for the Project included June activations with the @TikTokForGood TikTok account for their 2021 “Free to Be” Pride Campaign and a #CreativityForGood campaign by TikTok For Business. Additionally, TikTok supported our 2021 Queerbook campaign and selected us as one of the beneficiaries of its 2021 #GivingSzn campaign.

Converse Inc.: Converse has also returned to support the It Gets Better Project for its fifth year, kicking off with this summer’s “Find Your Pride” collections. Additionally, Converse has supported the It Gets Better Project’s expansion on platforms like TikTok and Twitch and for LGBT History Month and National Coming Out Day, supported a series of videos highlighting pioneers in our community’s history.
