“In a small Texas town, Kai is a bullied, nonbinary student in middle school who must hide their animal superpowers. After an altercation with the popular girl, Skylar, her and her friends mock Kai’s gender identity, and later, Skylar transforms into a villain named Kurse. It’s up to Kai to help Skylar overcome her curse and save the town. As they struggle to save the school and the town from Skylar’s destructive behavior, Kai pleads with her to think positively, reminding her of her own greatness and beauty.”
