Reports to: Director, Brand Marketing, Content & Creative
Salary: Competitive and Commensurate with Experience
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Probation: 30 days/1 month

The Project Manager is an organizational wizard who is able to juggle a mix of long and short term content projects at once, ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. This person is a strong collaborator and communicator who will designate project resources, prepare budgets, and keep stakeholders informed every step of the way. They will also be flexible and able to pivot, adjusting if necessary to meet new deadlines and requirements.
  • Provide end-to-end project management support for all content and storytelling projects, from development and creation through execution and launch
  • Prepare project budgets, with direction from the Director, Marketing, Content & Creative, based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Manage resources and track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Work effectively with staff, marketing agencies, and video production companies to ensure all parties are in alignment
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress
  • Efficiently deliver projects on time, ensuring quality standards are met for sponsors, partners, and all third-party vendor
  • Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new methodologies and projects
  • Conduct research to discover new market trends for social media and content trends

Skills Required

  • Experience developing detailed project plans, including long and short range schedules and budgets
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent and efficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with the most up to date project management and budgeting software tools, methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to network and build relationships within and outside the organization
  • Experience working in the LGBTQ+ non-profit industry a plus


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of project management and related experience
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
