The Sundance Film Festival is a celebration of the best upcoming independent films from around the world. This year, we honored queer films and creators at the first It Gets Better House in beautiful Park City, Utah with a brunch, happy hour, and space for queer talent to tell their stories!

The It Gets Better Brunch

If there is one thing that unites people, it’s brunch! We kicked off Sundance with a gathering of queer talent, including the folks behind “The Shawl” and “Buck,” as well as activist and writer Jacob Tobia.

“Disclosure: Trans Lives on Screen” Premiere Party

It Gets Better had the pleasure of hosting a happy hour celebration for the premiere of “Disclosure: Trans Lives on Screen,” an informative documentary taking a closer look at trans representation on film and in the media.

It Gets Better Stories

Our It Gets Better House was the perfect location to capture the inspirational stories of the incredible queer talent at Sundance! We filmed interviews with the cast and crew of “Buck,” “The Shawl,” “Disclosure,” and “And Then We Danced.” Make sure to look out for the upcoming videos on our YouTube page!

Thanks to everyone who made Sundance 2020 a roaring success! 🎬That’s a wrap! 🎬
