In 2021, the It Gets Better Project is combining two of our most popular annual events for four days of inspiring Pride programming. Celebrate Pride worldwide June 21-24 as we present the It Gets Better 2021 Global Summit (June 21-22) and It Gets Better: A Digital Pride Experience (June 23-24).
Kicking off with the 2021 Global Summit, this year’s digital conference will be a two-day leadership summit for the It Gets Better Project’s Global Affiliate Network that currently engages more than 350 volunteer storytellers, social media managers, activists and more from 19 different countries.
We’ll then change over to the second annual It Gets Better: A Digital Pride Experience, a two-day live stream event presented on YouTube. Last year, we pivoted our Pride activations online and reached a record number of LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-18 around the world. So we’re doing it again, and this year, we’ll present a digital Pride extravaganza that shows LGBTQ+ youth Pride isn’t just a month, it’s a global movement.
